Mr Koufakis has served as a member of the company's Board of Directors since 2007 and is the Director of the Department of Research, Development and Technical Support. Since 2010, he has been in charge of the hybrid development strategies for Southeast Europe. Since 2002, when he joined the AGRIS workforce, he has occupied a series of responsible positions as Head of Horticulture Development (2002-2004), Sales Director of the Horticulture Department (2005-2006) and Head of the Horticulture Department (2007-2009). He holds an MSc in Horticulture - Crop Physiology of Vegetable Crops and a BSc in Horticulture awarded by the University of Reading in Great Britain. He lives in Thessaloniki and is married with two sons.
